FAQ - HERE'S WHAT OTHERS WANTED TO KNOW

1. What are the opening hours at the parking lot?

Parking lot P4 is open 24 hours a day. You can come and go whenever you want.

2. What's included in the DAY-Stay ticket?

Your €40.00 ticket guarantees a reserved parking space at Lago di Braies Parking P4 (100m from the lake) and includes a €16.00 meal voucher, redeemable at our restaurants at the lake: Emma's Bistro, Panorama Restaurant & Chalet.

3. Which parking is closest to Lago di Braies?

Parking P4 – just 100 m from the lake. You can't get any closer by car, making it the ideal starting point to explore the lake and its surroundings.

4. Do I need a reservation in June or after 15 September?

A reservation is only required from 01.07.2026 to 15.09.2026. Outside this period no reservation is available, and you can access the lake and parking without booking in advance.

5. What if I don't know my license plate number yet?

  • When booking, simply select "I don't know my license plate number yet" instead of entering it. As soon as you have your plate, update your reservation on our website under "Manage Booking". Please update it before entering the Braies valley.

6. Does my reservation have a time slot?

  • No. Your ticket is valid for the entire day, so you can arrive whenever you like on your booking date.

7. Can I enter the parking before 09:00 with a reservation?

  • Yes. Your reservation is valid all day, so you can enter the parking at any time.

8. Do I need a reservation to enter before 09:00?

  • No reservation is required before 09:00 to enter the valley. We still strongly recommend booking, as all spaces may already be reserved and you might not find a free one.

9. Do I need a reservation after 16:00?

  • No. After 16:00 simply drive up to the lake and park – no reservation needed.

10. Kann ein Camper (Fahrzeug über 2 m Höhe) reservieren?

  • Der Parkplatz P4 verfügt über eine begrenzte Anzahl an Stellplätzen für Fahrzeuge über 2 m. Diese können nicht online gebucht oder reserviert werden. Online-Tickets gelten ausschließlich für Autos und Motorräder. Die Zufahrt für Camper ist nur möglich, wenn unser Parkplatzwächter vor Ort sind, hauptsächlich in den Sommermonaten. Bei der Ankunft weisen diese Ihnen einen Stellplatz zu. Außerhalb dieser Zeiten (insbesondere nachts) sperrt eine Höhenbegrenzung die Einfahrt, sodass nur Fahrzeuge unter 2 m auf den Parkplatz gelangen.

11. Where can I redeem my voucher?

  • At our restaurants at Lago di Braies: Emma's Bistro, Panorama Restaurant & Chalet. The voucher cannot be redeemed at the boathouse or the souvenir shop.

12. How do I reserve for multiple days?

  • You can stay several days at Parking P4. Between 01.07.2026 and 15.09.2026 we recommend booking the first day online; for the following days you can pay our staff directly at the parking.

13. Parking for people with limited mobility

Parking P4 offers 9 free spaces for holders of a valid European disability parking permit, reserved exclusively for permit holders. These spaces cannot be booked online or reserved in advance. We recommend arriving early – both for the best chance of a space and to enjoy the lake's colors and calm in the morning hours.
